While it’s not my most recent craving, it’s definitely one that every I love with pretty much any look. What I enjoy most about this new ring movement is that the ring world finally has a fresh new spin. Midi rings! Who’d have thought taking the traditional ring placement and moving it up one knuckle would have such a die-hard fan base shortly thereafter? Gotta say this one took me by surprise but I’m so glad it’s busted on to the fashion scene.
With designs like the infinity loop, crosses, diamonds, arrows and so much more, celebs from all over the globe such as Rhianna, Kristen Stewart, Rashida Jones, Vanessa Hudgens and more have all adopted this new trend. Now, even though it’s made recent bomb drop in the fashion world, the midi ring isn’t all that new. We’ve seen it pop up from around the 70’s (and probably even earlier like the ancient world) and trickle on down the line onto the fingers of Phoebe from the famous sitcom we all know and love – Friends.
Need some wear-to (get it? like how-to but not..haha) ideas?? Slip on just one or two midi rings and no doubt they instantly add a bit of a boho or free-spirited feel to your look – add several more and pair them with thick bands and thumb rings and now it’s boho meets biker. I’m just loving the versatility and endless designs these little first-knuckle treats have to offer… and you should too!
You can find these beauties pretty much anywhere and even though I can’t list them all here are of few of my fav’s:
FOREVER21 ETSY TOPSHOP
(fav site for one of a kinds)
So what I’m trying to say is if you don’t have a midi ring collection yet, get on it!
